Working in a corporate world I always want to look elegant, sophisticated and smart. Comfortable clothing is one of the main concerns especially for those who are considerably inclined to plus size category.

Such ladies face issues finding comfortable clothing in plus size stores as well as normal stores.

​

Indian ladies find comfort in Indian wear and it is difficult to find a blend of Indian work wear appropriate for corporate culture.

Most of them end up getting their workwear stitched which is again time consuming when running out of time.

​

Ideally work-wears should not be flashy, since such clothing’s are not easily available in market at affordable price, the trend of work wear has inclined towards being flashy and clothes made out of inexpensive fabrics and monotonous designs.

​

Plus Size clothing is limited to black, white and some few colours occasionally. Again, tall ladies with broad features like me, who fall in this category are unable to find the perfect fit at affordable prices. One can buy such expensive Kurtis occasionally but not on regular basis.

​

I had always been disappointed with available clothing’s, whenever I wanted to buy work-wear for myself. I visit a lot of stores and always ended up buying super expensive Kurtas whenever I had to attend meetings.

​

Another disappointment was not being able to find similar clothes, designs or fabrics quality which is available in market in lower sizes. As if all the good designs were only meant for slim ladies.

​

After many years of struggle and disappointment to get the right outfit for myself, a thought began to take root to make such workwear available which is of comfortable size, length, good quality non flashy fabric and in an affordable price range. My need and my urge for good fabric, comfortable size and pocket friendly clothes was the root cause of establishing - The Signature Plus
